about me

Film Director

Saeid Shahparnia is an Iranian director and photographer who has been living in Italy since 2007. In 2002, he graduated in Mechanical Engineering in Iran, but his love for art and cinema led him to Italy, where he studied at DAMS, Cinema section, at Roma Tre University. His career began in 2011/2012 with the short film “L’immagine perduta 2012.” In the following years, he continued making other short films shot between Iran and Italy, earning recognition and awards: Peccatum (2014), The Spectator (2018), Subjective (2020), and Finché un giorno (2024). These works led him to take part in the Rome Film Festival with his latest project, the documentary “Pietre e mattoni” (2024).
