“Stones and Bricks”, a joint production of the Qazvin Art Center and Italy, directed by Saeed Shahparnia and produced by Morteza Mazadeer, explores the deep connection between architecture, identity, and history in Qazvin and Rome, where Shahparnia has lived for 17 years. Blending personal narrative with insights from renowned architects, it calls for preserving urban heritage.

In this work, Shahparnia explores the architectural wonders and beauties of two cities: Qazvin, the city where she was born, and Rome, where she lived for seventeen years. The 52-minute film “Stones and Bricks,” a joint production of the Qazvin Art Center and the Italian “On Air” Institute, will soon be released and distributed.

“Stone and Brick”, produced by the Qazvin Art Center and directed by Saeed Shahparnia, is a documentary comparing the architectural and urban heritage of Qazvin and Italy. Featuring interviews with leading Iranian and Italian architects, it highlights the challenges of preserving Qazvin’s historical monuments. The film will premiere in Rome and later in Iran.
